Jason Fitzsimons

FOUNDER
Jason started his career in construction in 1993 after his service in the military. He developed a wealth of experience in construction, management, field supervision, cost control and value engineering. In 2004, he founded Equity Builders Group Inc. in order to utilize these skills in his local community.
Born and raised on the Peninsula, Jason has an ongoing passion for creating beautiful homes as well as unique commercial spaces, including bars, restaurants, sports courts, and offices.
Kim Machado

PROJECT COORDINATOR
Kim joined the Team in 2015, and keeps the company wheels turning smoothly, coordinating stakeholder relations, accounting, scheduling, ordering, and overall facilitation. Prior to Equity Builders, Kim worked at Walschon Fire Protection Inc. for 20 years and has an Aircraft Maintenance Technician License.
Louise Jeffrey

PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR
Louise joined the EBG Team in 2011, providing exceptional project management, detailed estimates, and outstanding client communications. After managing environmental programs for the County of Humboldt, she became interested in green building, studied Sustainable Design at UC Berkeley and obtained a LEED AP credential through USGBC and a Green Building Professional credential through Build It Green.
Manuel Lopez

FOREMAN
Manuel joined Equity Builders in 2011 and worked in the construction industry his whole life, beginning with his father’s painting company. Manuel currently oversees all carpenters and laborers, and always figures out the most efficient and exact way to accomplish the goal at hand and implement with grace.
